Testolimited – Blog aims to publish accurate, useful and understandable educational content about measurement techniques and Testo-related applications. This policy describes the editorial standards applied to our articles; readers can report concerns through our contact page.
Topics and reader intent
We prioritize questions that help readers select a measurement method, understand a reading, identify possible causes or plan a safe diagnostic process. A product-specific article should distinguish the exact instrument and model generation. An article about a general problem must first answer the problem, rather than begin with a sales pitch.
Research and source selection
Where a product capability, operating range or compatible accessory is mentioned, the preferred source is the relevant current manufacturer document or product page. General procedures should be supported by appropriate standards bodies, regulators, engineering references or other credible technical material. Search engine results may reveal common questions but do not verify technical claims by themselves.
Facts, assumptions and examples
We distinguish observations, likely explanations and confirmed causes. Worked examples are labeled as hypothetical unless real measurements and their provenance are provided. Numerical tolerances, calibration instructions, safety limits and regulatory requirements should not be invented or generalized beyond the applicable context.
Editing and clarity
Articles should answer the central question promptly and avoid repeated introductions, filler, artificial word counts and redundant FAQs. Tables are used when they help the reader compare methods or interpret results. Measurement instructions should identify relevant units, test conditions and limitations.
Automation and AI-assisted drafting
Drafting and research workflows may use automated tools. Automated output can contain errors and does not constitute source verification. Technical statements should be checked against accessible sources before being relied on; readers should independently verify critical data using applicable manuals and standards.
Corrections and updates
Significant errors should be corrected once substantiated, and a correction note may be added when an error materially affects interpretation. Updates may be required when products, manuals, standards or available evidence change. See our Corrections & Updates policy.
Commercial independence of the text
Any advertising or affiliate relationships should be disclosed, and those relationships should not determine technical conclusions. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more information.
